| Join us for workshops! We have some fabulous beading projects coming up. Sign up for one of our workshops and learn helpful techniques from our experts, useful tips, and have a lot of fun while you're at it. Our workshops are on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6 - 8 PM and Saturdays from 2-4 PM. Just call us to sign up for the ones that interest you. They are two hours in length so you and your friends can come without interfering with your busy daily routine. Come join us - make new friends and enjoy the camaraderie of others with a common interest. Remember...we all were beginners at one time! You too will learn and hone your skills as you go! |

August 1 Wavy Rosette Necklace: This long beauty will be your very favorite! Each rosette is stitched tightly to form a wavy edge that adds interest and dimension to this 30 inch or more necklace. It’s a piece you will wear over and over! Several color choices will be available. Beginner Class Tuesday, August 3, 6 – 8 PM $25.00 August 5 Coiled Wire w/Lampwork Bead Earrings: Learn to coil wire, form it into a loop and add a large lampwork bead in the center of the loop. These earrings are simple and the technique can be used in many other applications! Our August 26 class will match these perfectly for a set! Beginner Class Thursday, August 5, 6 – 8 PM $25.00 August 7 Hip to be Square Necklace: Using Swarovski crystals Linda Costner will teach you how to stitch them and wire them together into a square pendant that will hang from a beautiful necklace of glass and seed beads! A variety of colors will be available to choose from. Beginner Class Saturday, August 7, 2 – 4 PM $25.00 August 10 Wildly Ruffled Bracelet: Using bugle beads and crystals you will stitch this bracelet with flair! You first make a base of seed beads and then embellish it with bugle beads and small fire polished glass beads. They are so close together that they form a beautiful wave of ruffles along the sides! Beginner Class. Tuesday, August 10, 6 – 8 PM $25.00 August 12 A Proper Pearl Necklace: Everyone should own one, don’t you think? This lovely piece is woven using 8mm, 6mm, 4mm and 3mm glass pearls in a pattern that is stunning as a choker or as a regular necklace. The scalloped edge on one side makes it easy to turn up or down for your preference. Intermediate Class. Thursday, August 12, 6 – 8 PM $25.00 August 14 Polymer Clay with Tyrone! Learn to make a cabochon that looks like a turquoise stone! Tyrone weaves his magic and teaches you how to mix and mingle the colors in just the right way so that your cabochon looks like stone!! Then Darren’s class will be about wrapping it (as shown in the photo) at 2:00! Beginner Class. Saturday, August 14, 11 AM – 1:00 PM $25.00 August 14 Wire Wrapping with Darren! Darren will teach you step by step how to wrap your clay stone from Tyrone’s class, or you can choose a stone from our selection to wrap. This is a truly beautiful technique for wrapping you won’t want to miss! Beginner Class. Saturday, August 14, 2 – 4 PM $25.00 August 17 Three Strand Bracelet w/ Crystals: Three strands of tiny size 15o seed beads are woven and attached only at the ends and topped with crystals and a loop. A 12mm rivoli, seed beads and crystal picots are used to embellish. Lovely! Intermediate Class. Tuesday, August 17, 6 – 8 PM $25.00 August 19 Wire Wrapped Stones: This class is for those who want to be able to wrap any shape stone and make it a pendant. This no frills technique is standard and can be used in most all applications. If you have beautiful stones you have wanted to learn to make into pendants this class is for you! Thursday, August 19, 6 – 8 PM $25.00 August 21 Wire and Gemstone Ring: This ring is fabulous! Diane Enger will teach you how to make a wire ring on a mandrel and add a jumble of wires in the center with tiny gemstones all wired over the top. Then, you will use Liver of Sulphur gel – outside – to make the wire darken into an antique look! Lots to learn and so much fun! Beginner Class. Saturday, August 21, 2 – 4 PM $25.00 August 24 Pearl Daisy Bracelet: This light and lovely bracelet is so easy and fun to make! The inside of the daisy is a flat coin shaped pearl and the petals are 3mm pearls! They are all connected by 15o seed beads you will stitch in the old daisy chain pattern to make the band. Beginner Class. Tuesday, August, 24 6 – 8 PM $25.00 August 26 Framed Bead Bracelet: Coiled wire surrounds each and every bead on this bracelet that matches the earrings from the August 5 class. You’ ll want to make a matching set, so come join us and learn how to attach them and make a bracelet using wire and coin shaped beads! Beginner Class. Thursday, August 26, 6 – 8 PM $25.00 August 28 FINISH A PROJECT DAY!!! Bring in your unfinished project with the instructions we gave you and we will help you finish it! Saturday, August 28, 2 – 4 PM FREE August 31 Delightful Beauty Necklace: This necklace uses stringing techniques and wire techniques for any beginner.
