At our shop, we work hard to bring our customers the beads they want and need and to keep prices as low as possible.  We search the shows, the internet and other wholesale shops to find the very best stones and beads at reasonable prices.

We take great pride in bringing you the best quality beads available.  Our inventory includes fire polished glass from Czechoslovakia, trade beads from Africa, Swarovski crystals from Austria, focal and lampwork beads from China, India, and right here at home.  We also offer crystals from China and the Czech Republic.  Our glass beads are from all over the world and we have Hill Tribe Silver from Indonesia and Bali.  Our natural stones are some of the most beautiful and come from all over the world—literally! We also have findings and chains in brass, sterling silver, silver plate, gold plate, copper and gunmetal. Vintage Natural Brass findings are so popular now and add interest and texture to your designs!  The store has 1500 square feet of beads and findings.  We carry Beadsmith tools and stringing supplies of all kinds: Beading wire, (wire cable), Acculon & Softlex, Monofilament, Fireline, Leather from Greece and India, waxed linen, waxed cotton, silk, C-Lon, Nymo and, of course—elastic! We carry all major beading magazines.

We are also building inventory for basic PMC and polymer clay supplies. 

Beads! and Other Fancy Stuff was the creation of Vickie Timmer in the Spring of 2004.  In April of 2006, Vickie took a position in Orlando, Florida.  Jan purchased the shop at that time and is having the time of her life!  She retired from a marketing career and is enjoying the comfort of a mostly stress-free life now!  

In her time away from the shop Jan enjoys designing jewelry with all types of media and beads.  See some of them on her design website at www.eloquentbeaddesigns.com.  Jan also works with K Robins, of K Robins Designs to produce necklaces that feature K's beautiful sculptures.

We offer classes for both beginner beaders, accomplished beaders, and everything in-between.  Our instructors are top-notch!  Workshops are on Thursday nights from 6 until 8 pm and Saturdays from 2 until 4pm.  A list of workshops is available on this site under the Workshops tab!
